Implants – smaller, more comfortable and more efficient

,

The trend towards personalized medical technology does not spare implant technology. Microelectronic devices are becoming even smaller and more efficient and are individually matched to the patient. Smaller structures and components are therefore in demand as never before.

But also textiles and 3D printing are conquering the world of implants. Whether patches or functional tissue - materials are becoming more flexible and also biocompatible. Read in our "Trend Topic" how implants and materials that have only been dreams of the future will become reality soon. A very good place for this is certainly COMPAMED 2015 with its forums, too.
