Microfluidics - drop-by-drop-analysis with the chip lab

It always comes down to the right tool. Microfluidic chips with minute chambers and channels are the right tools to handle small and smallest amounts of liquid. Researchers can use them to look at fluids and their components like cells, to control them and to analyze them. Or they straight away put a complete, miniaturized lab analysis on a chip to detect specific substances or pathogens.
