About us

EPSA is a Uruguayan company leader in manufacturing plastic products for medical use, brand EPSA®. Since the beginning of its activities ELECTROPLAST has been the most important supplier in its specialty, within the Uruguayan market, obtaining an acknowledgeable prestige at regional level. In order to satisfy the client's needs and to respond to a growing demand, the selection of high technology was determined. An unbreakable compromise with the quality, the most advanced technology and a competitive cost allowed to project the sales to the regional and international market. The company, located in Servando Gómez 2450 in Montevideo, has a 3.000 m2 production plant. Including a modern computerized sterilization plant of Ethylene Oxide , administration office and warehouse. Staff of 130 people is working in the most strict conditions of hygiene. EPSA. counts with the quality norms ISO 9001-2000, EN 13485 and CE 0124.

ELECTROPLAST S.A´s staff of 130 persons is distributed in several areas. The company works in the field of medical-surgical products and it is the only manufacturer of polyurethane catheters in the Uruguayan market. ELECTROPLAST S.A. is member of the "Cámara de Industrias del Uruguay" (Uruguayan Industries Chamber) and "Asociación Uruguaya de Industrias del Plástico" (Uruguayan Association of Plastic Industries).

Own product line

EPSA specializes in the production of catheters in the Urology/Endo-Urology and Anestesia field made of PVC and incorporating the manufacture of catheters of polyurethane for long permanence in the body.
