AUDIT MicroControls, Inc. The Audit® MicroCV™ Procalcitonin Linearity Set for use with B•R•A•H•M•S PCT sensitive Kryptor has five unique levels of linearity material which allows for complete monitoring of that specific test system’s reportable range, as defined by the manufacturer.

Packaged as 5 x 1 mL, this lyophilized product has a shelf life of 2 years and an open vial stability of 24 hours when stored at 2-8°C.

Recently adopted CLIA-88 regulations state that each laboratory revalidate each of its test method’s analytical measurement range (AMR) at least every six months as well as following changes in lots of analytically critical reagents or major system components.

AUDIT MicroControls provides a free data reduction program to their customers, called AUDITOR™ QC. This service is a group of Internet based tools that perform statistical analysis calculations on the linearity data supplied by the lab and provides the end user peer group comparison graphs that may be printed or stored for future use.

August 16, 2012 (CARLSBAD, CA), AUDIT MicroControls, Inc. is pleased to announce a new addition to our existing line of daily quality control products, Audit® MicroLQ™ NGAL Control. Audit®MicroLQ™ NGAL Control is an assayed, stable, ready-to-use liquid, bi-level reference control for use with assays designed to quantitate Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL). It is intended to simulate human patient samples for the purpose of monitoring the precision of laboratory testing procedures for NGAL assays. NGAL will be available for purchase Fall 2012.

Packaged as 6 x 1 mL, this liquid product has a shelf life of 2 years and an open vial stability of 30 days when stored at 2-8°C.

AUDIT MicroControls, Inc. Prior to joining AUDIT MicroControls, Thompson served four years in a technical capacity as Purification Department Manager at Aalto. More recently, Thompson served in an administrative capacity as Aalto's Director of Planning and Technical Development, where his duties included project management and transactional legal work. Thompson has also developed and managed the technical elements of Auditor QC, the online, real time data reduction program.

Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis and a Juris Doctorate cum laude from the University of San Diego.
