Hyporfoam is a sterile polyurethane foam advanced wound dressing with high absorption and exudates retention capacity, Available both in adhesive and non adhesive version. Soft, elastic and extremely conformable, ensures a painless replacement even after some days of treatment. The particular open cell structure, with vertical absorption, limits the side exudates spreading and reduces the risk of wound maceration. The dressing is externally covered by a thin superficial film - acting as semi-permeable barrier-which optimizes the breathability, avoids the fluid leaking and protects the wound from cross-contamination. Indications: the device is indicated for treatment of non infected - chronic or acute - moderate to highly exuding wounds.
Hyporsorb is a non adhesive and sterile advanced wound dressing formed by a soft and conformable net of pure calcium alginate micro-fibres. The highly hydrophilic fibres swell during exudate absorption forming a firm gel which fills up the wound without sticking to it. The gel creates and ensures the best moist wound environment for the tissue regeneration process. Indications: the device is indicated for treatment of non infected - chronic or acute - moderate to highly exuding wounds. Instruction for use: clean, disinfect and treat the wound according to the local protocol; apply the dressing with appropriate fixation devices. Replace every 3 – 4 days depending on the exuding level and the clinical evidence. For a correct dressing replacement, clean the wound with physiological solution paying attention to remove all residuals coming from prior application.
