Stepless doorstep ramps and cover plates

Stepless doorstep ramps and cover plates are used for negotiating doorsteps. There are several types, each fulfilling different needs. Doorstep ramps are for use in places where there is an existing doorstep – placing the ramp in front of the doorstep compensates for height differences. With cover plates, however, the doorstep is removed and the cover plates are laid completely level with the floor, to avoid any obstacle.

Guldmann Mobile lifter

Go low, go high

The Guldmann mobile lifter range is designed for lifting and moving procedures based on lifting the user supported in one of a wide selection of appropriate slings.

This type of lifter is particularly suitable for use in unpredicted, less frequent or one-off lifting situations where there is no ceiling-mounted hoist, or where such Guldmann systems are impossible, impractical or simply not the most cost-effective solution.

Guldmann mobile lifters are used for lifting from floor level and enable the carer to lift even a very tall user in a large sling, with a minimum of effort. They are ideal for high-priority situations where rapid, effective lifting is required, at the same time as ensuring that the carer is protected against any risk of strain or injury.

Public transport

Much focus has been placed upon increased accessibility for the disabled in the last few years. Legal requirements concerning accessibility in public transport are on the rise around the world, and this trend is set to continue for many years to come.

That is why Stepless has developed a number of different solutions that range from simple ramp solutions and lifting platforms to more complex and specially designed solutions, which are all intended to create better conditions for passengers in wheelchairs.

About us

Company details

V. Guldmann A/S was established in 1980 by Viggo Guldmann with the concept to develop, manufacture and market technical aids for the disabled and working tools for their carers.

Today we supply products and services within two main areas and under two trademarks:

Guldmann – Time to care
Under the Guldmann trademark we aim primarily to improve the working environment in every part of the social sector where people need to be moved and handled.
By supplying beds and lifting equipment as well as services that include advising, education, service and mounting, we contribute to ensuring the optimum utilization of the resources in the care system, where more time to care will be freed up. Guldmann operates worldwide and all products are manufactured in our own factories.

Stepless – Accessibility for all
Under the Stepless trademark we sell accessibility that ensures the walking-impaired, wheelchair users and others access to the surrounding world. The product range comprises ramps, lifting platforms and small lifts. Stepless operates worldwide and the main part of the products are manufactured in our own factories.

Common to all our products is that they are typically used in nursing homes, care institutions, hospitals, in the home care and in private homes. Depending on the country our products and services are sold to either the public authorities, funds, insurance companies, private companies or private persons.

An international company
We have customers all over the world and they are being serviced from one of our sales offices in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Italy, France, England and the USA or via our distributors who cover markets from Iceland in the north to Australia in the south.
