The project SACSO is financed by the National Agency for Research (ANR). The goal of this project is to develop generic solutions which allow the electronic systems to monitor the surrounding environment and adapt themselves to different scenarios and requirements.
The product is designed with self adaptative systems which modify their characteristic with the application context.
Our medical device is intended as research vehicle of self-adaptive solutions to environmental and physiological changes.
The Equipio project aims to develop a device capable of continuously monitoring the intra-ocular pressure (IOP) for the equidaes, coupled to a telemetry system, to improve the glaucoma treatment in horses and establish correlations between the IOP and other physiological parameters.
Ophtimalia is a young innovative company. Its mission is to design electronic medical devices in the field of ophthalmology. Using innovative solutions, those devices permit to improve the diagnosis and the treatment of ocular pathologies on humans but also on animals.
The company is strongly supported by the Vision Institute (Institut de la Vision) and is a spin-off from NXP. It was created in September 2009 and its offices are located at the Campus EffiScience in Caen.
Ophtimalia is supported by the French ministry of Research and benefits from tax refund approval for investment in R&D. This grant permits the company to be referenced as a research and development company.
