TORONTO, November 09, 2016 – Fio Corporation is returning to MEDICA this year, the world’s largest annual medical trade fair, to showcase its cloud-based connectivity and reporting platform for point-of-care devices. The four-day MEDICA 2016 fair runs from Nov. 14 to 17 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
“Healthcare funders are demanding access to data from medical devices and manufacturers are seeking solutions to remotely troubleshoot and better manage their fleets. Our Fionet™ platform provides a direct window into the places where health care is being delivered, even in the most remote environments,” says Tom Bleiziffer, Fio’s Director of Business Development for OEM Partnerships. “We look forward to welcoming point-of-care device manufacturers from around the world to check out our oversight portals at MEDICA this year.”
Fio’s cloud-based Fionet™ platform builds on existing mobile connectivity infrastructure that already covers most of the developed and developing world alike. Fionet captures and integrates data from devices at the point of care and gives manufacturers immediate insights that can improve customer engagement.
Fio’s solutions are focused on improving decentralized healthcare delivery and management, where the majority of services are provided, but where only a tiny fraction of information is being fed back to healthcare decision makers.
