Needle-Free Access Devices Pressure-Activated Valves

Our Pressure-Activated Valves (PAV) are designed to be used as a one-way valve for drug delivery. The low priming valve platform yields stable cracking pressure for dispensing anesthetic drugs as well as for use with other IV drug delivery devices. The PAV features a preloaded normally closed silicone diaphragm that allows flow in one direction while checking flow in the opposite direction, preventing retrograde flow.

NP Medical offers a value-priced hospital care line of pressure-activated valves to meet your set of needs. These quality driven products share the same design and materials as our acclaimed critical care valves. They are offered at a lower price point based upon the criticality of your requirements. Our hospital and critical care lines are identifiable by either a green or blue diaphragm, respectively.

Features
Low priming volume
Wide range of available opening pressures
Clear housing
Lipid resistant
100% in-line tested
Back pressure rated from 45 psi (3.1 bar) to 330 psi (22.8 bar)
Latex and DEHP free
Solvent-free, permanently ultrasonically welded assembly to assure structural integrity of product and fluid containment.

Needle-Free Access Devices Luer Activated Valves

Our Luer-Activated Valves (LAV) have a needle-free design featuring a closed silicone diaphragm that checks flow until mechanically opened with an ISO Luer device. The enhanced two-way design of our LAV is compatible with various drugs and blood products with its unique geometry allowing for infusion or aspiration. Our valve design incorporates a castellated actuator, which provides a flow pattern that allows for complete flushing of blood and other viscous drugs.

Features
Bi-directional flow upon actuation
Lipid resistance
Low priming volume
Clear housing
100% in-line tested
Back pressure rated to 45 psi (3.1 bar)
Latex and DEHP free
Solvent-free, permanently ultrasonically welded assembly to assure structural integrity of product and fluid containment.

Inline Check Valves

Our time proven design provides consistent opening pressure and flow characteristics for demanding medical and life science applications. The inline check valve is compatible with most IV gravity and pump sets. Additionally, our round profile is well-suited for automated set assembly equipment.

Features
Low priming volume
Wide range of available opening pressures
100% in-line tested
Back pressure rated to 45 psi (3.1 bar)
Ultrasonically assembled, free of solvents and residuals
Latex and DEHP free

Anti-Siphon Valves

Our Anti-Siphon Valves are designed for pump applications to reduce likelihood of inadvertent infusions. These valves feature a preloaded normally closed silicone diaphragm that allows flow in one direction while checking flow in the opposite direction, preventing retrograde flow.
