The low profile anatomic locking plate adapts to the natural shape of the distal radius with a thicken waisted shaft and gradually thin from the neck towards the distal end. The anatomically fitted locking plate contours with a volar tilt angle that provides superb buttress for distal fragment. The plate consists of all locking threaded holes except one oblong slot for low profile cortex screw used for distal-proximal translation of the plate.
All locking screw holes are retrofittable for various types of locking screws. A set of trapezoidal scaff-old screw construct provides ultimate fixation stability with distal row supporting radial styloid, lunate facet and DRUJ; and converging proximal row provide secondary subchondral support
