sciLINER- the first dispenser for membrane materials with full active visual drop volume control
The sciLINER is a compact automated non-contact dispensing system for ultra-low volumes, specifically designed as an economical entry level for the production of Lateral Flow Tests or other membrane-based materials. Equipped with unique online drop formation monitoring, and precise drop volume measurement, it guarantees accurate dispensing of continuous and dotted lines with a minimum dispense volume of 0.1 µl/cm. Drop control is important when sensitive biological materials, such as antigens, antibodies or DNA are deposited. It forms the basis for a stable production of point of care tests based on membrane materials. The sciLINER can be operated in either aspirate/dispense or bulk dispense mode to produce lines with widths ranging from 0.5 to 5 mm. Freely scalable line spacing and adjustable line thickness ensure optimum flexibility. All membranes and flat targets with a size of up to 150 x 300 mm can be loaded. With up to 4 channels, a flow rate of up to 8 ml/min and a printing speed of 20 seconds per NC sheet, the sciLINER is perfect for low to medium throughputs.
sciREADER CL - fast read out and easy data analysis
The sciREADER CL enables high resolution digital imaging of colorimetric microarrays and detection of multiplex arrays with the highest sensitivity. Its integrated image aquisition and analysis software is optimized for any 96-well plate. The sciREADER is a key tool to reduce cost and time by providing efficient data analysis for miniaturized, multiplexed assays in any planar array format. The sciREADER provides intuitive, easy-to-use software, allowing customization of array analysis and report formats. The instrument design allows using it in life science research as well as in clinical diagnostics.
The sciREADER CL comes as a complete package and includes a Laptop, Instrument Control Software sciREAD CL, Analysis Software sciANA and a microplate holder. Fast set-up time is guaranteed to be less than 15 minutes . For Batch Analysis of microarrays a separate software module sciANABA is available. In addition to 96-well microplates the sciREADER CL is a comprehensive and flexible system that can easily be adapted to various support formats such as slides.
