Why New Hampshire?

There are many reasons why New Hampshire is a great place to expand or relocate your business:

  • Our workforce is skilled and robust.
  • Taxes are low and our government is accessible.
  • We are business-friendly.
  • Time and again, we top national rankings when it comes to health, education, low crime and our quality of life.
  • In southern New Hampshire, less than an hour from Boston, you will find significantly lower occupancy costs.
  • Less than an hour south of our international border with Canada, you’ll find ideal and reasonably priced locations and workforce suitable for expansion into the US market.
  • Our two interstate highways, rail corridors, airports and a deep water port are well-positioned so your business remains competitive within the US, just over the border in Quebec and Canada, or global markets around the world.
  • For more reasons to choose the Granite State, check out the 2015 New Hampshire Economic Review.

About us

Company details

The Best of New England Booth includes companies from the states of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

The New Hampshire Office of International Commerce - an office of the Division of Economic Development - is organized to plan, develop, and administer programs for international trade promotion and foreign market development, and to coordinate other public and private organizations involved in concurrent efforts. We bring all those public and private organizations together as the New Hampshire International Trade Resource Center (NHITRC).

The NHITRC's unique alliance of state, federal and private sector organizations includes the Office of International Commerce, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Export-Import Bank, the international training arm of Southern New Hampshire University and a worldwide network of commercial consuls.  Through its guidance and expertise, the NHITRC provides information and customized services for New Hampshire companies looking to sell their products abroad.
