NoDec® Pressure Ulcer Mattress Range

NoDec® ProductRange

Our premium range of alternating pressure devices, NoDec® features advanced solenoid technology to rapidly redirect the changes in airflow required to maximise pressure variation/elimination in dynamic support surfaces.

Included in the range is a variety of alternating pressure mattresses and overlays that prevent patients developing pressure injuries, as well as promoting the healing of established pressure ulcers.

All our pioneering mattress solutions are fully automatic and patients nursed upon them require less manual repositioning. They can include vacuum assisted deflation that maintain volume airflow when re-inflating deflated air-cells despite backpressure from the patient’s body weight.

Additional features such as a touch screen visual display panel, comfort settings, timed static mode, audible and visual alarms, permanently inflated side formers, maximum inflation mode, and simplicity of decontamination for effective infection control are benefits to both patients and busy nursing staff.

Pioneering pressure mattress solutions to be showcased at MEDICA 2016

A UK company, who specialises in the development and manufacture of ‘zero pressure’ technology will be at MEDICA 2016 to showcase their full range of pioneering mattress solutions.

Over the last few years, Rober has invested heavily in R&D to develop a complete range of pressure ulcer mattresses that cater for a variety of needs including patients that are immobile, bariatric or have existing pressure injuries.

Developed in conjunction with clinicians, the mattresses feature clinically proven technology that prevents pressure injuries from developing. They also have therapeutic properties that promote the healing of established ulcers.

The mattresses are fully automatic, and patients nursed upon them require less frequent manual repositioning, thus relieving the pressure on busy nursing staff. They can be used in everyday nursing environments, as well as acute care facilities.

Mike Hutson, Chief Executive of Rober, said: “Designed and manufactured in the UK, Rober’s mattresses, overlays and cushions have been developed to replicate the body’s natural movements by responding to a patient’s weight, spontaneous movement pattern and body position. They provide enhanced comfort and complete pressure elimination at regular intervals.”

Pressure ulcers are a rising problem around the world and in the UK alone, they affect over 700,000 people a year and add an additional £4,000 per ulcer onto each person’s care bill. They are also linked to prolonged hospitalisation, pain, social isolation and in worst cases, death.

MEDICA 2016 is taking place from 14 – 17 November 2016 and throughout the show, Rober will be located in in hall 16, stand G20-2.

About us

Company details

Rober Ltd (Hall 16 G20-2) specialise in the development and manufacture of ‘zero pressure’ technology for the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers. Designed and manufactured in the UK, our pioneering range of pressure ulcer mattress systems and cushions replicate the body’s natural movements helping to eliminate pressure injuries and provide ultimate patient comfort and safety.

The patient is at the heart of everything we do. By working closely with leading medical advisers and healthcare practitioners and understanding their needs, we can offer the latest in the field of pressure injury prevention and therapy.
