Carrytec - Comfortable to Wear

A clear visual impression with soft contours, large volume and yet comfortable to use with the help of the integrated handle - at first glance, these are the outstanding design features of the new CARRYTEC range of enclosures. Yet the “enclosure for being carried„ is capable of considerably more, and is ideal not only for simple but also for complex systems and applications with and/or without cable.

The range of enclosures was designed as a three-part model, with dimensions 222 x 205 x 80 mm (size S) and 270 x 247 x 91 mm (version M, dimensions for L x W x H) consisting of a top and a bottom part as well as a handle part made of soft TPE material for an improved touch sensation. Two different standard colours are available from stock: off-white (RAL 9002) made of ABS (UL 94 HB), for example for applications in medical and laboratory technology, and in the colour lava (NCS S 7502-G) made of fibreglass-reinforced polyamide (PA GV) for tough use in outdoor conditions or for machine control systems. The large recessed control panel on the front is ideal for pushbuttons, mem-brane keyboards, displays and touch screens. For protection against external influences, the CARRYTEC is watertight up to protection class IP 65 (with optional sealing kit). Interfaces for energy supply, mains connections etc. can be installed in three recessed areas. Thanks to the rectangular operating panels, it is possible to install the electronics as complete pre-assembled units in the top and/or in the bottom part.

For storage purposes, charging or for regular use, the range of accessories of the CARRYTEC series includes a wall-mounted / desktop station with a locking function and an ergonomically favourable inclination of 15°. This makes the displayed information easy to read even at different distances and angles from the enclosure. The station has already been fitted with a flange as standard; this is ideal as a contact surface for the enclosure.
