Hypertronics Promotes Hypertac Technology at CompaMed November 14-16, 2007

Hudson, MA (November 2, 2007) HYPERTRONICS Corporation, a Smiths Interconnect business, will be exhibiting various interconnect solutions featuring their Hypertac® Technology at the COMPAMED Trade Event in Düsseldorf, Germany November 14-16, 2007 in conjunction with MEDICA.

Highlighted at the Hypertronics booth during the CompaMed Trade Fair will be the HyperGrip™ medical connector series. HyperGrip circular connector series features 12, 19, 33 & 80 pin positions and range from 1-2 inch diameter. The design of Hypergrip allows for user-configurable keying system so each connector can be custom designed for uniqueness to the customer’s application. The HyperGrip™ medical connector series can be color coded for easy recognition and to prevent incorrect mating. HyperGrip offers a sealing option for IP67 protection when mated and a shielding feature supplying EMI/RFI protection.

Other product lines include the reliable, easy to use D-series, a simple push button latch connector series that can be color coded for easy identification. The D-series offers a variety of sizes to accommodate a most applications. The Non-Magnetic interconnect solutions meet all magnetic field distortion requirements. Non-Magnetic contacts and cable assemblies are autoclavable, and available in power, signal and coax with an offering of 8, 16, 32 or 64 channel designs, allowing for the utmost reliability in any imaging application. The Implantable interconnect solution is biocompatible and is designed to withstand the demanding applications within the body. The Implantable connector was carefully designed for easy mating without the need of expensive tooling, and can be designed with multiple contact positions.
