Pressure calibrator: leak simulator - leak master

The instruments of the series Leak Tester Control are dedicated to check the efficiency of the devices which are used for pressure decay leak tests. They can be used as pressure calibrators to check and certify the device pressure readings.

They can also be used as leak simulators to check if testers are capable of identifying as “test FAILED” a cc/min determined leak on the objects to be tested.

With LTC the user can issue reports on the tester performances and certify them in conformity wit the ISO9001 standards.

The LTC instruments help the user in choosing in an easier way the test parameters to be programmed on the testing equipments.

The LTC instrument is connected in series between the testing equipment and the object to be tested. The air flow filling the object to be tested passes through the instrument. A pressure transducer fitted inside the instrument measures the test pressure. An inner branch makes it possible to simulate a leak in the test circuit. The leak is controlled by a manual needle micro-valve, an on-off switch makes it possible to open or close the leak without modifying the adjustment. The leak flow is linked to a suitable connection outside the instrument. An inner flow sensor measures the real value of the applied leak. At the beginning of each test, the operator can open or close the leak, the test should end with a FAILED result if the leak has been opened and with a PASSED result if the leak has been closed. During testing, the operator can check both the testing pressure and the leak flow on the display.

In order to answer to the requirements of Quality Control, it is advised to use a Leak Master to verify periodically, with a quick and easy system, the operation of a leak testing equipment.

At a specified pressure, a Leak Master guarantees a certified leak flow rate. Inserting the Leak Master in the test circuit, it turns out very easy to check the efficiency of the test equipment, the mechanical fixture and the connections to the tested parts.
