The Creation of the KIWI Children’s Rehabilitation Buggy

The children’s buggy comprises more than 180 individual components, of which 65 are injection moulded articles manufactured using 36 tools entirely made at Vauth-Sagel. The KIWI is setting new standards in modern care for children with special requirements such as those with minor to medium-severe physical disabilities. It convinces with its light and simultaneously sturdy frame, its modern design and its individual adjustment possibilities.

Even during the development phase of the KIWI, Vauth-Sagel provided invaluable input, frequently supplying the decisive solution to the issue at hand. Today, the complete tech-nical responsibility lies solely with Vauth-Sagel – from the construction, the tool procurement, the creation of various facilities, the production of all injection-moulded components, the complete sourcing of the bought-in parts all the way through to the final assembly, the function check and the packaging of all ready-for-dispatch KIWIs.
