Bielefeld is coming - Ritex celebrates Arminia's success with an exclusive special edition condom

A historic moment for Bielefeld - after Arminia Bielefeld's furious final spurt to the premature championship title of the third division and the sensational entry into the final of the DFB Cup, even the East Westphalians come out of the cellar for a laugh. Reason enough for Bielefeld condom manufacturer Ritex to bring out an exclusive special edition of condoms for special protection during man-to-man coverage.

"As a traditional Bielefeld company, we are delighted with the success of DSC Arminia Bielefeld. There was no way we were going to miss out on the "Bielefeld is coming" gag," says Natalie Fiedel, press officer at Ritex. "Arminia's promotion to the second Bundesliga and the upcoming cup final are a great and perhaps unique event for the whole region, which we want to celebrate together - and safely!"

To mark the occasion, the limited-edition condom "Bielefeld is coming" will be distributed to fans exclusively at the big public viewing next Saturday in Bielefeld around Jahnplatz - while stocks last.

"I've been asked several times over the last few days where you can buy this promotional pack," says Ritex Managing Director Robert Richter. However, there are currently no plans to sell the condoms, says Richter. After the surprisingly strong feedback, however, the company is looking into the possibility of expanding the campaign.

Asked about a possible cup win by Arminia, Richter said: "I'm all East Westphalian and say that we'll think of something suitable".
