George Philips marks three decades of vertically integrated medical-device manufacturing

India’s pioneer in critical-care disposables highlights full in-house capability and export growth, including Disposable Pressure Transducer (DPT) kits and Disposable Pressure Transducer Cartridge / Domes.

Düsseldorf, 17 November 2025 — George Philips Medical Engineering Pvt. Ltd. announces more than 30 years of continuous innovation and end-to-end manufacturing in critical-care disposables. Founded in 1994, the company operates a fully integrated value chain: clinical need identification, concept development, CAD and design, tool and mold manufacturing, precision injection molding, clean-room assembly, clean-room packaging, in-house EtO sterilization, quality control, and regulatory affairs—delivering consistent performance from prototype to high-volume production.

George Philips was among India’s earliest adopters of the ISO 9000 series and subsequently ISO 9001, and today maintains an ISO 13485 quality management system with full lot traceability. Processes align with global benchmarks, including AAMI BP22 (DPT performance principles), ISO 11607 (sterile barrier systems), ISO 11135 (EtO sterilization), and ISO 14971 (risk management).

The current portfolio includes Accu+ Disposable Pressure Transducer (DPT) kits for invasive blood pressure monitoring, Sensex disposable pressure transducer domes for reusable systems, spinal manometer sets, IV flow regulators, extension lines, and custom accessories. To the company’s knowledge, George Philips is among the only Indian manufacturers that design and produce DPTs fully in-house; many suppliers rely on imported transducer assemblies. This vertical integration supports tighter control over accuracy, reliability, and supply continuity for hospitals, distributors, and OEM partners.
