In 2019 Waserman Medic launched its new line of scar treatment products, Improscar. The focus of these products has been to fulfill the requests from plastic surgeons and dermatologists on the treatment of scars.

Improscar Stick is a very easy and efficient way to treat any scar and this product eliminates all the hassle surrounding the use of a silicone gel product. By creating a stick, the ease of application is greatly improved which has a positive effect on patient compliance.

Improscar Stick 50 has all the benefits of Improscar Stick, with the added benefit of an included sun protection factor of SPF 50. Dermatologists have requested this combination for a long time an after much R&D work we finally managed to bring this patented product to the market.

Improscar Patch are silicone-based patches/sheets which will stay on the skin for 7 days continuously. The request from the surgeons was to develop a product which was super thin, reducing the risk of clothes ripping the sheet from the skin. They also did not like the hassle of removing the sheet every day to wash, dry and reapply. Therefore, we worked together with some of the leading silicone producers to find a solution to this problem. The result was Improscar Patch, a super-thin silicone-based patch which will stay on the skin for 7 days and can be worn in the shower!

We launched this product line in Sweden in 2019 and it turned out to be a great success!

We are now looking to broaden our sales to other countries, and we are looking for distributors who are interested in the scar treatment market and have contact with plastic surgeons, dermatologists etc.
