NIÜ innovation summit, Hungarian Innovation Week

The Hungarian Innovation Week takes place each year in autumn bringing together Hungarian innovation events, providing focused answers to current issues and thus strengthening the Hungarian ecosystem. Hungarian Innovation Week is not only a series of events, but also a forum for collective thinking and future building. Our aim is to show that Hungary is an internationally competitive player in the world of knowledge-based innovation. We believe that meetings, dialogue and cooperation drive forward ideas that shape the future. Hungarian Innovation Week offers exciting events every day for all those interested in the world of innovation, research, technology and start-ups: alongside Hungarian researchers, entrepreneurs, academics and government experts, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet, exchange experiences and build important contacts with speakers and visitors from abroad.

Within the framework of the week, NIÜ organises the opening international conference, this year it was called Connexions: CEE Deep Tech Summit, taking place on 11 September. The event brought together internationally renowned and respected experts to share their thoughts with the audience. In addition, panel discussions and interactive workshops helped to better understand why our country and the wider region have a chance to play a global leadership role in building successful Deep Tech startups in the future.
