Extra sharp imaging

Dear Sir or Madam,

When one thinks of imaging, one probably first thinks of X-ray tomography. A team of researchers at the TU Munich has developed a camera concept based on neutrons that could also benefit medicine. For the time being, however, some research is still necessary. Find out what advantages the new system could theoretically have for medical imaging in our video: Extra sharp imaging for medicine

While our video deals with improved imaging, Dr Volker Zöllmer and Dr Claus Schreiner sat down with COMPAMED.com and talked more about invisible processes. What the new material composition developed at Fraunhofer IFAM is capable of doing in paint systems against bacteria and viruses, you can read in our interview: Disinfection with light.

Have a nice day!

COMPAMED Video

A team of researchers at the Technical University of Munich has developed a neutron-based camera concept that can take much sharper pictures of the inside of certain objects than previous systems. Even in fossilized material, details become discernible. Such as in fossils or metal.
