Artificial intelligence in medicine

Dear Sir or Madam,

There is currently a lot of discussion about what artificial intelligence can and should do. But the fact is that it can be very useful to us. This is particularly noticeable in medicine, where AI helps doctors to diagnose cancer as early as possible, for example. Of course, its use in such a sensitive area requires a framework. And there should be one in the future. That's why Dr. Daniel Schwabe from the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (Germany's National Metrology Institute) is working on the TEF-Health project. The project has set itself the goal of ensuring that machines are brought into line with human intentions and values. One subproject also deals with the corresponding approval processes for AI. Have a pleasant week!
