Iron oxide nanoparticles for medical applications

Dear Sir or Madam,

Sometimes it's the little things that make medical technology more effective. Take iron oxide nanoparticles, for example. Among other things, they are used as contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging. Important for this: they must be strongly magnetizable in the magnetic field and lose their magnetization again without a magnetic field. Researchers at TU Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany) want to improve these properties with a new microstructure design. Find out how in the news "Iron oxide nanoparticles for medical applications.

Have a great day!
