Speech recognition for machine control

Dear Sir or Madam,

You may already be familiar with it from your own home: You want to switch on a device, perhaps to listen to music, and give a voice command to do so. Your favorite music promptly plays in the room. What is practical for our everyday lives can also make our professional lives much easier. At least that's how two men from the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology IDMT see it. There, research is being conducted on speech recognition that can be used in production, for example. But the software may also be of interest to hospitals. Learn more in the COMPAMED interview: Speech recognition for machine control.

Have a nice day!
