The recovery rate of THC has reached over 90%

Detecting THC parent drug in saliva samples has long been a global challenge due to the viscous and sticky nature of the THC molecule, making it difficult to dissolve in water. This has led to issues with THC adhering to the surfaces of vials or containers during transportation to a lab for testing.

However, Kaimi Biotech has developed a groundbreaking solution with the QiDix™   Saliva Collection System. This innovative system includes a swab and a buffer tube, designed to effectively collect and preserve saliva samples for accurate drug testing.

The cellulose tip on the swab allows for quick and efficient sample collection, with a sufficiency indicator that shows when the tip is saturated with saliva. Once collected, the tip can be dislodged into the buffer tube, where the buffer solution works to preserve and recover the drugs in the saliva sample.

To ensure the effectiveness of the QiDix™  Saliva Collection System, it was rigorously tested at DIAN LAB using LC/MS/MS. The results were impressive, with a recovery rate of over 90% for the THC parent drug at a concentration of 5ng/ml.

With the QiDix™ Saliva Collection System, detecting THC parent drug in saliva samples is no longer a challenge. This innovative solution offers a reliable and efficient method for drug testing, providing accurate results for a variety of applications.
