The integration of cybersecurity into medical devices is quite a big challenge because it requires a lot of knowledge related to encryption, secure connection, and how to treat the data, because at the end of the day, the devices are treating sensitive data. We have to keep attention to continuous monitoring the device when it's in the field because the threat landscape is evolving every day.
We have to continue monitoring vulnerability, address them correctly, and dispatch security patches on a daily basis.

Documentation is essential for product security, and products like software, for example, must be hardened, must be secure, and that must be documented. When you have agile systems that support this process, it naturally makes things much, much easier than if you were to do it statically.
The advantage of process excellence is that you have a document that you may need to be available repeatedly for many different products. And right now, you have to assign that manually in document control.
If you have a system that targets the process, I only have that document exactly once. I maintain it once, and the valid version is automatically available in all cases and for all regulatory requirements.
