COMPAMED 2021: Expectations have been fulfilled

Mr. Klenk, what were your expectations before you came to COMPAMED 2021?

Michael Klenk: COMPAMED is an important trade fair for medical device suppliers like us. After a pandemic-forced one-year break, we were eager to have in-person meetings with our customers again, engage in face-to-face conversations, and showcase our products. All told, we had high expectations of the trade fair.

Did the trade show meet your expectations?

Klenk: By and large, everything went as planned. Needless to say, there were still pandemic-related restrictions during access control, for example. Visitors were also still required to wear face masks at the event, but that was warranted and easy to do. We received great visitor feedback and were pleased with the trade fair.

Which products did you showcase at COMPAMED 2021?

Klenk: Marposs is a world leader in measuring and testing technology, and we featured highlights of our product portfolio. At COMPAMED, we specifically focused on leak testing of medical devices such as bags and tubes as these systems must comply with stringent requirements. We also presented a gauge for measuring diameters and an integration solution. The market expects reliability and efficiency from these production controls. Marposs not only offers solutions for dimensional control, but also delivers functional testing for implantology screws and nails.

Are you planning to be an exhibitor at COMPAMED 2022?

Klenk: If COMPAMED 2022 will go ahead as scheduled, we will gladly participate again.
