I'm from Valuepack. We are a medical device assembling and packing company, and our supply chain is flexible due to the fact that we do last-moment customization.
So we get products in bulk and in the last moment, we pack it in the right amount and in the right language, for example.
What we do to be resilient is that we have several plants. So we can make the products in two different plants, for example, in two different countries.
So we have our double-deck transport trailers where we can load 52 pallets instead of 33. We transport electric. So with the electric truck, we are investigating, we are testing, and we are in control of it. So we have our own fleet. We have our own warehouses.
So the key to being flexible is being in control.

For us, trusting our partners is very important. One side, on the commercial side, of course, we need to know that they have our back, but on the other hand, of course, in a technical sense as well, that we know that the products and the systems arrive on time in our stock.
We know that in the last couple of years the political situation has changed a little bit, so it's also important to think about the regional supply chains, but also not neglecting the global supply chains and know with which companies you can work together in these more difficult times.
