Impressions and experiences – Voices from the halls 2022
In 2022 there will again be a lot going on in the halls of COMPAMED. We have ventured into the hustle and bustle and asked the exhibitors and visitors of the fair about their impressions and experiences. The answers can be found in our photo gallery.

It is not only the exhibitors at COMPAMED who are looking for "profitable" contacts. Visitors also come to Halls 8a and 8b for this reason. Like Robert and Hadeel. The two are namely looking for a job. "I don't really have anything to do with medical technology," says Robert, adding, "I'm a mechanical engineer." Hadeel, on the other hand, is at home in the field. Nevertheless, it is the first COMPAMED for them. Both agree: "There is an incredible amount to see."
Also on the road in pairs are Silvia and Matteo from Switzerland. The two are on the lookout for promising supplier companies. How is that going so far? "So far, so good," says Silvia. And Matteo adds, "Last year it was a little underwhelming. But this year it's going really well."
Also looking for suitable suppliers is Dr. Indez Jain from India. "I have been coming to COMPAMED for years - with the exception of the past ones, of course." His opinion: "A lot has changed. The show is not what it was like before Corona."
For Steven McGough and Christian Madella, the trip to Düsseldorf was worth it. The two Brits are here not only for their customers, "but also to see what the trends are." For Christian, he says, it's particularly interesting as an engineer. "I really enjoy it."
Teresa Rodriguez Hernandez (right) and Jessica Frederick are also on business at COMPAMED. "We have traveled from Switzerland," Jessica says. "We want to see what our competitors are doing, and we are also looking for new suppliers," Teresa says. But you can't do all that in one day, she says, so the two are also on the road again on the last day.
And how are things going for the COMPAMED exhibitors? "On the first day it was still restrained, but since then it's been going really well," says Björn Buik at the KNOCKS booth in Hall 8b. He hopes that there will be some promising talks on the last day as well.
Bronte Gross at the Formacoat LLC booth is also satisfied. "Last year we were at MEDICA and that were not the right people for us. This year it is much better for us," reports the Sales and Marketing Engineer. For example, he said, the U.S.-based company has increased its leads tenfold compared to last year. "I'm sure we'll be back next year."
"We are presenting our new, intelligent connector this year," says Steffen Nitsche. But the product manager at Franz Binder GmbH & Co Elektrische Bauelemente KG also has snap-in connections, disposable and autoclavable connectors on display. "It's all very customer-specific." But for that, he says, things are going very well.
"Printed electronics are definitely in vogue," says Dr. Florian Ullrich with a smile. It's going so well that InnovationLab GmbH has its own booth this year. "Last year, we were at a joint stand." And, has anything changed? "We usually walk through the halls as well to approach potential partners. This time they're coming to us," grins the Head of Business Development.
People at the PRENT booth are also satisfied, reports Philip B Madsen. "We've been coming to COMPAMED since 2012, and it's going very well for us again this year."
