PRIZnano is a high frequency ultrasonic atomizer of liquids. During high frequency ultrasonic atomization, a piezoelectric crystal coated with glass which is installed at the bottom of the sonication vessel, vibrates at the frequency of 1.7 MHz and supplies the energy required for atomizing the liquid.

When the ultrasonic vibrations are sufficiently intense, a fountain rises from the surface of the liquid due to acoustic pressure waves and breaks up at the apex as a result of gravitational effect.

PRIZnano could be used as an atomizer in process of gaining nano powder by deploying ultrasonic spray pyrolysis.

Breakout board IO3-R2 (Revision R2) has digital buffer for STEP/DIR/ENA command signals and as such it is particularly suitable for the connection up to 4 microstep drives MST-107 and/or DC servo drives DCS-3010 directly to PC. This breakout board can also be used with all drives that have opto-isolated STEP/DIR/ENA inputs.

On board charge pump prevents undesirable state changes in case of loss of communication with computer. Breakout board IO3-R2 has two relay outputs that can be used to activate the two output devices (electric motor for the main spindle and/or vacuum pump for chips removing, etc.). Indication of the relay condition is performed by the two LEDs which are located on the board.

One of the relay outputs can optionally be converted to analog output with a voltage range of 0-5 V or 0-10 V. This output could be used to control of spindle motor revolution speed. Up to 5 limit switches can be connect to the breakout board. Digital inputs for limit switches are opto-insulated and also have input filter for noise suppression, which is important improvement compared to previous version of breakout board IO3.

PC connection is performed via the parallel (printer, LPT) port. Breakout board IO3-R2 has centronics (IEEE1284) connector, so that connection to the PC uses a standard printer cable. Breakout board IO3-R2 is specially developed to be used with software for generating STEP/DIR command signals via parallel port such as: Mach2, Mach3, LinuxCNC (free), TurboCNC (free), KCam, etc.

PRIZMA DOO was founded in 1990. Developed its activities in two directions: distribution and own development and production.
Since the foundation date, have been representative of OMRON - Japanese manufacturer of home care and professional medical equipment (digital blood pressure monitor, nebuliser, electronic nerve stimulator, digital body thermometer, digital weight scale and body composition monitor, step counter).
As of 1996 have been selling APEX Bio blood glucose monitoring system and in 2004 became an exclusive distributor for the region.
1997 saw presenation of our first product – home use ultrasonic nebuliser Bronhi Sonic - which had come as a result of our R&D long term work.
In 2000 PRIZMA launched its further products - switch mode power supply for medical application as well as humidifier units aimed for use in industrial engineering and as personal humidifier.
Ultrasonic nebuliser BRONHI Sonic became obsolete in 2007 and replaced by its successor, more advanced model of home use ultrasonic nebuliser MICRO Sonic which was EC approved carring CE 1304 mark.
Simultaneously with the launch of MICRO Sonic, have established QMS in accordance to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 verified by the EC notyfing body SIQ, Slovenia during August audit of our premises.
A hi-tech professional ultrasonic nebuliser PROFI SONIC was launched in 2008. This unit is perfect for use in the hospitals, nursing homes and medical clinics.
QMS initially implemented in 2007, was upgraded in 2010 with ISO 14001:2004. In the same year the professional dry salt aerosol generator for inhalation PRIZSALT was launched.
Compressor nebuliser PRIZJet was presented for the first time at MEDICA 2011 exhibition. And the latest newcomer, ultrasonic pyrolysis atomized generator PRIZnano, will be presented during Medica 2012.
Finally, PRIZMA is an Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) provider focused on supplying complete design, engineering and manufacturing services to the medical, consumer electronics and automotive industry at high quality and competitive pricing.
