The next generation Point of Care and self-testing system for OAT monitoring

The microINR system is intended for the monitoring of vitamin K antagonist Oral Anticoagulation Therapy (OAT). The microINR Chip and Meter have been developed to fulfill the needs of all the existing OAT monitoring models, and have received the CE mark for patient self-testing and for use by healthcare providers making it suitable for both intended uses.

The microINR system tackles these demands through its compact easy-to- use design, automatic calibration, low-volume sample requirement and multilevel quality control.

The microINR system employs patent granted technology and provides accurate and reproducible results as proven in extensive performance evaluations.

iLine Microsystems selected for the first funding round of Horizon´s 2020 SME Instrument

Horizon 2020 is the largest research and development programme undertaken by the European Union in its history, with a budget of almost 80,000 million for the years between 2014 and 2020.

The SME Instrument included in the Horizon 2020, is a grant funding programme in several rounds, aimed at supporting those SMEs which have the ambition to grow, develop and internationalize through an innovation project of European dimension.

Thanks to the constant investment in R + D and its exponential growth, iLine Microsystems has succeeded in overcoming the phase I of this prestigious programme. In this first round funding, the subsidy amounts to 50,000 euros, intended to study the technical and economic feasibility and the commercial potential of the selected projects.

The access to this programme promoted by the European Commission means competing with the greatest growth and expanding potential SMEs of the European scene. Only in this call, the best 1,570 European projects have been presented, and only 259 have been approved, being iline Microsystem among the 34 companies selected in Spain.
