customers all over the world. It goes without saying that our machine park is state-of-the-art.
Our newly built factory in Spaichingen creates perfect conditions for rational and efficient work.
Here Marquardt produces Osteosynthesis and spine products. This demanding range of products is being produced on modern cnc-machines and partly on self-designed special machines.
Materials of Marquardt implants : Marquardt implants are made either of stainless non-magnetic austenitic chromium-nickel steel or of titanium. Titanium is used as commercially pure titanium (cp-Ti), or as a titanium alloy. The titanium alloys consist of the material TiAI6V4 or TiAISNb7.
All raw materials correspond to the international IS0 standards as well as to national DIN and ASTM standards. The raw material is obtained from exclusive manufacturers who have to keep to uniform specifications and terms of delivery. In order to keep up the optimum quality of its raw material Marquardt has its own internal specifications regarding chemical compositions, mechanical characteristics and the purity of the structure which are stricter than those prescribed by international standards. In addition to the certified test of the material carried out by the manufacturers, all raw materials are tested again in the Marquardt laboratory according to statistic criteria. The raw material will only be released for production if all values correspond to the internal regulations.
