SDAMGUARD-MED

SDAMGUARD is a monitoring system that shows to the user, in real time, the situation of peripheral plants, controlled by the SDAMNet RS485 local network and SDAM and /or SDAM SHUT-OFF units; it provides s alarms, measurements and status.
SDAMGUARD notifies alarm status by two LEDs and acoustic signals with regulatable volume.
It is equipped with relay outputs andcan be configured for external cumulative alarm indicators, for external hooter or for telephone dialer.
Up to 253 SDAM and/or SDAM SHUT-OFF units can be connected to the same local SDAMNet network and all can be monitored by one SDAMGUARD master and unlimited SDAMGUARD slaves.

MINICRIOTEL

MiniCRIOTEL is a device designed for remote and local monitoring of cryogenics vertical and horizontal tanks, with size between 1 and 60 m3.
The accurate and systematic attention for the optimization of electrical consumption, spent on the project, generated an ultra-low power architecture capable of overseeing with a sufficient continuity at all the essential functions, despite the solar panel power supply.      

MiniCRIOTEL communicates by a GPRS cellular network and sends data to the server by the web application CrioSystem Supervisor. The GPRS technology reduces significantly costs for data transfer allowing a high data communication frequency.
A continuous monitoring system helps gas suppliers to eliminate product shortage and/or extra deliveries and ensure sufficient level for each customer.
Level and pressure are available on two displays located on the front panel. Measurements are performed by AMBRA’s DRT transducer, which is integrated in the equipment.
MiniCRIOTEL power is provided by solar cells or by an external 24 Vdc power pack supply; the housing is with protection proof IP65 and standard mounting facilities and allows installing the unit onboard of the cryogenic tanks quickly and in an easy way.
In order to minimize the energetic consumption, required for operations with solar cells, the device remains in sleep-mode and switches on the measurement cell and the GPRS modem at regular periods. For this reason, level and pressure are updated every 30 minutes. At every wake up the unit upgrades the measurements on the local display, keeping the indications available at any time.
It is possible to force the updating of level and pressure in real time, pushing the pushbutton on the front panel.
Remote data upgrade by the web application CrioSystem Supervisor is programmable by the user from 1 to 24 hours with minimum step of 1 hour.

Standard functions are:

  • Level and pressure measurements notified on the display;
  • Transmission of periodic updates about level and pressure to the mainframe unit by GPRS;
  • Transmission of low-level, low/ high pressure and low battery alarm messages to the mainframe unit;
  • Acquisition of the new setup parameter defined on CrioSystem Supervisor.
DRT sensor is a combined strength-gauge transducer integrated in the unit and patented by AMBRA Sistemi. It measures differential and relative pressure at gaseous phase at the same time.
This sensor, specifically developed for cryogenic tanks under pressure, provides high performances regarding accuracy, endurance to mechanical bursts, reliability, compatibility, small size and low cost compared with whichever different solution available in the market.

only for area identification, inputs parameters are already set and fixed following their location logic; only SDAL-MED V4 allows the inputs parameters programming.  
 
The units can be connected in SDAMNet local network (RS485) to one or more SDAMGUARD-MED units and/ or to P.C. for central monitoring guard station.
On P.C. can be installed the monitoring software SDAMNet SW; with the software licence is supplied one interface converter USB/RS485 for the connection between P.C. and the local network.

Two software versions are available:

  •   SDAMNet_Lite  SW  Monitoring base software
  •   SDAMNet SW Graphic software monitoring
 
Both versions have the following functions:

- Cyclic monitoring on peripherals SDAM-MED and SDAL-MED observing alarms, fails and measurements
- Visual monitoring on monitor and acoustic signal activated by alarm presence

NEW PRODUCT: GASTEL

GASTEL is a complete and efficient solution for the local and remote control of compressed gas storages that assures high level of safety and an essential support to logistic services, through advanced functions of remote monitoring by GPRS.
GASTEL completely replaces the human supervision activities, supplying precise and real time information that allows the manager of compressed gas distribution to organize as well as possible the production, the delivery optimization and the manage in time of anomalous situations, caused by unusual consumptions or plant malfunctions.
Frequently, indeed, gas suppliers choose to provide oversized storages to avoid unexpected consumption consequences, making significant investments without a cost-effective customer satisfaction, since they are subordinated to space troubles.

The remote control, therefore, is an essential instrument for gas suppliers, supporting the logistic departments by the optimization of the deliveries. Missed or delayed supplies can cause significant economic damages for customers, whose obligation is usually difficult to ascribe since may depends on a human mistake in manometers reading, a delayed measurements reading or a misunderstanding with verbal inquiries.

Thanks to CrioSystem Supervisor platform, installed on a central server, and CSS WebAPP, it is possible to keep always and everywhere updated on provisions and alarms status, as long as an internet connection and credentials are available.
The CrioSystem Supervisor platform is operative 24h/7 and notifies possible alarm conditions stated by the GASTEL unit, warning the plant responsible operators. These functions can be extended to customers as an optional service in combination with the gas supply, with all the relative advantages.

GASTEL unit performs those functions:

  • Local measures monitoring;
  • Local alarm signalling;
  • Remote control by GPRS network by an integrated modem;
The GASTEL unit installation does not require specialized operators and entails low costs and low impact on time.
GASTEL is enclosed into a waterproof box for external wall mounting. The unit performs all the functions below, without auxiliary units or accessories:

Programming

It is possible to program the unit in a simple and intuitive way, just by an encoder placed on the front panel. A wide display with 20 characters x 4 lines is the user interface, showing all measures and alarm conditions.

Local measures monitoring and local alarm signalling

GASTEL manages up to 8pcs. inputs 4...20 mA and each input can be configured individually with the possibility to associate two alarm thresholds (minimum and maximum).
All measures are continuously showed in clear on the display and are easily understandable.
Each input can be freely configured in local by the user, with specific measurement unit; Net value option can be set if the input is associated to a weighing system.
The unit shows the alarm status with reference to the input configuration, by visual and acoustic signals thought blinking leds and a buzzer. There are two alarm leds and different acoustic signal frequencies to discriminate all the different critical alarm conditions.

Remote control

The integrated GPRS modem provides the automatic transmission of alarm status and storage updates; besides allows the remote modification of the operative parameters and the real time updating of measures.
GPRS technology has no limitation in the number of remote monitoring plants and avoids the PSTN and GSM typical phone line congestion.
Moreover, GPRS data transmission has low management costs and supports a high frequency of automatic plants updates.
CrioSystem Supervisor platform receives automatically all the real time alarms from GASTEL units, memorizes them and transfers the notifications to the responsible operators by mail, SMS and text to speech messages.

Remote monitoring

It is possible to request, always and everywhere, the GASTEL GPRS connections, getting real time updated measurements by a specific command from CrioSystem Supervisor web interface or CSS WebAPP.

AMBRA SISTEMI SRL NEW LOGO

After more than 20 years, the company AMBRA Sistemi has decided to radically change its company logo, drawing inspiration from the origin of the choice of its name.

Amber is a resin produced by conifers that gets fossilized and in some case solidifies storing in its interior plant, fungal or animal remains.

It 'a translucent gemstone and its color can vary from yellow, to red, to brown up to the green.

It’s the first element discovered with electrical properties and has already been recognized in 600 B.C. by the greek philosopher Thales, who called it elektron.

From here was originated the word electricity.

In our logo we wanted to represent two stylized amber stones, alongside an orange dot within the word AMBRA, to represent and remember the ability of this resin to keep insects and plant remains for hundreds of millions of years.

The name AMBRA Sistemi is therefore an acknowledgment to this material that allows us to discover the past and look optimistically to the future, thanks to more and more innovative electronic solutions.
