Junflon Peelable Heat Shrink Tube

Introduction
Junkosha has focused on issues in the manufacturing process of catheters and guide wires. As the pioneer of fluoropolymer technologies and products, we have developed Junflon Peelable Heat Shrink Tube. In the market of catheters and guide wires, we understand that simple and reliable methods help extremely fine processes remain unproblematic.
PHST vs Other traditional HST
Peelable Heat Shrink Tubes are suitable for the Polyamid-Welding process of Cathters and laination process of Guide Wires. Advantages of traditional FEP-HST are the strong force of shrink compression compared to other HST, like Polyolefin HST, though  both of these can not be peelable, so it is difficult to remove. Simply make a 10mm slit on one end of the Junflon Peelable Heat Shrink Tube, and you can then "PEEL" from the slit side to the other - you don't have to slit along way anymore!
Also, Junflon PHST has the same characteristis as traditional FEP-HST. Therefore, it is easy to replace traditional FEP-HST with our PHST since it can be used in the same shrink conditions. The difference between PHST and traditional FEP-HST is that PHST has peelablility. PHST provides you with higher throughput and yields, as well as improved ergonomics. Also, PHST is manufactured from materials which meets USP Class VI Plastics requirements.

Junflon Extruded PTFE Liner

The excellent lubrication qualities of PTFE are ideal for the inner layer of a catheter in delivering Endovascular devices to the treatment area. However, conventional dispersion type PTFE Liners are low in mechanical strength. These tubes are easy to stretch, diameters of the tubes become narrower, and finally the inserted device becomes stuck. Also it is easy to ablate due to fragility during use.

Whereas the JUNFLON® Extruded PTFE Liner is hard to stretch, and so it maintains its smoothness in the catheter against any inserted device. JUNFLON® Extruded PTFE Liners are fine, thin-walled, and have high tensile strength due to our special extrusion technology.  All PTFE materials meet USP Class VI.  We can also treat inner surfaces by wet processing.
