Fornia Electronic infusion pump consist of principal machine and reservoir. The reusable principal machine is embedded with highly intelligentchips to provide humanized control, complete functions and easy operation. Disposable reservoir is available in a variety of capacity including 100ml, 175ml and 250ml. It is mainly used for intravenous and epidural administration to suit various clinical micro-injection including preoperative sedation, intra-operative and postoperative analgesia and chronic pain treatment.

WORKING PRINCIPLE 1. FORNIA Disposable Infusion Pump has an elastomeric membrane (silicone reservoir) which holds the medications. 2. When FORNIA Disposable Infusion Pump is filled, the elastomeric membrane is stretched. The elastic constriction drives the medications through the tubing. 3. Medications will flow at a preset flow rate which is determined by the inner diameter and length of the capillary tubing. 4. FORNIA Disposable Infusion Pumps do not require any electricity and are not gravity driven.

• BEFORE intubation
With its originally designed drug spray function, this endotracheal tube can perfectly alternate laryngotracheal topical anesthesia device, by simply spraying local anesthetics (such as 2-3ml lidocaine)through one of its connectors.
• DURING the surgery
It can be connected with FORNIA infusion pump with one of its connectors and continuously infuse anesthetics.
• AFTER the surgery
Spray local anesthetics (such as 2-3ml lidocaine) through one of its connectors, thus reduce the cough reflex during extubation and cease the administration of intravenous drug early.
Tracheal extubation under deep anesthesia tends to cause symptoms such as obstruction, hypoxemia, etc. With the applicatioin of drug spray endotracheal tube, the administration of intravenous drug can be ceased early. Extubation during spontaneous breathing when patients emerge from anesthesia will remarkably reduce cough reflex.
• IN the ICU
Connecting with infusion pump with one of its connectors. Apply local anesthestics, in order to reduce use of intravenous drugs.
