Cyclops XLT-125 Coaxial LED Surgical Headlight

The Cyclops XLT-125 is Enova's most popular headlight. It is Enova's first coaxial LED surgical headlight with adjustable aperture. You get 125,000+ lux of pure white homogenous light (6100 degrees Kelvin) for  true tissue rendition. Plus, Enova offers a set of Color Temperature Filters for customized illumination.

The XLT-125 has an adjustable aperture ranging from 2” to 5” (5.08cm to 12.7cm) in diameter to give you the exact spot size needed to perform your best. Plus, the Enova XLT-125 can be adjusted to your individual height and angle of view requirements while the coaxial design aligns your illumination on the same plane as your vision and is easy to use with or without loupes.  Its light weight—only 7 ounces/198gm—together with its fully adjustable, padded headband makes this surgical LED headlight easy to wear for long periods of time.

The Enova XLT-125 can be used with Enova’s PP2 or PP4 Lithium-ion battery packs. Battery life with the PP4 pack ranges from 9 to 24 hours and with the PP2 pack ranges from 5 to 10 hours on a single charge.

Cyclops XLT-225 Coaxial LED Surgical Headlight

It’s true. The Cyclops XLT-225 is the world’s brightest LED surgical headlight.

Bigger is better when it comes to the power packed into Enova’s new Cyclops XLT-225. This LED surgical headlight has the adjustability and coaxial features of the Cyclops XLT-125, the brightness and light purity of the Iris D-200, and the dependability and solid construction you’ve come to expect with all Enova headlights. Designed for deep-cavity surgery, the XLT-225 has 225,000 lux to illuminate even the deepest surgical cavity with precision and focus.

Its adjustable aperture ranges from 2” to 5”/5.08cm to 12.7cm in diameter for exact spot size. Its coaxial design allows for adjustment to your individual height and angle of view requirements, and easy to use with or without loupes. At 11 ounces/312gm, the XLT-225 is similar to the D-200 in weight and balance for overall comfort. And, the extra thick replaceable foam headband liner makes the XLT-225 comfortable to wear during long surgeries.

About us

Company details

Enova surgical LED headlights are designed for surgeons, by surgeons.

Enova® Illumination stands alone as the first LED surgical headlight designer and manufacturer in the industry.  Our headlights can be found in the best clinics, hospitals, universities and military bases including Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, University of California at Berkeley, University of Minnesota, Princeton Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and Langley Air Force Base to name a few.

The Enova journey of innovation began in 2003, before “LED surgical headlights” were a reality. Dr. Sushil Gupta was performing surgery when his gown caught fire from the heat of a fiber optic cord. Then the Chairman of Surgery at Guthrie Clinic, Dr. Gupta was inspired to develop a new LED portable technology—one that would remove the restraint and restriction of fiber optic surgical headlight systems, reduce the pain caused to the neck and back from heavy fiber optic cords, and improve the light degradation and color associated with Xenon and Halogen light systems.

Dr. Gupta, also a former Professor of Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, approached Enova Medical Technologies and began working with its group of medical technology engineers. In 2005, this team launched the surgical headlight industry’s first LED headlight called the Halo 5000, which featured two LEDs and emitted 50,000 lux.
