Gulf Fiberoptics was founded in 1996 by current President/CEO Patrick Bennetts and Christopher Kerns with a vision of establishing the company as a leading edge, comprehensive manufacturer of fiber optic products. This vision and on-going philosophy is applied every day with a mission to manufacture high quality fiber optic components at a fair price while providing the very best customer care.
The foundation of the company was formed by its ability to manufacture premium quality borosilicate raw fiber. Our state-of-the-art, in-house draw towers allow for a high level of quality control and custom material sizes to better serve the industry. Our careful selection of ultra-pure raw materials provides our products with a competitive advantage. In addition to our borosilicate fiber, our Photonics division manufactures fiber optic patch cables and assemblies using other multimode fibers such as quartz and/or fused silica, with a wide selection of coatings and buffers.
Gulf Fiberoptics is ISO 13485 certified and FDA registered to ensure high standards, consistency and quality.
There are now two distinct divisions of the Gulf Fiberoptics Group:
Medical – standard and custom light cords for rigid endoscopes, OEM and replacement light bundles for flexible endoscopes, complete surgical headlight systems, light sources, service and repair for all brands of fiber optic related products, light sources, and instruments.
Photonics – Custom and standard fiber optic assemblies and probes for Spectroscopy, for use with most industry standard spectrometers and instruments. From deep UV to NIR, Gulf Photonics can engineer a fiber optic solution for your application.
