Aerte AD 2.0

Create an outdoor atmosphere in your indoor environment
Air-borne transmissions of various particles occur regularly, especially in sensitive indoor environments such as hospitals where the risk of infection is a constant companion. Reducing this risk means minimizing infections and their consequences for patients and staff alike.

Besides health effects, the economic consequences of an infection outbreak can result in a lot of unnecessary spendings for the hospital or institution at hand. These consequences can be avoided by our unique real-time air cleaning solution.

Our technology resembles processes that occur naturally in open-air.

Features of the Aerte AD 2.0:
  • Inactivates viruses, bacteria, fungi, allergens and odour
  • Effective against e.g. Norovirus, Aspergillus, MRSA, E. coli and Flu variants (including H1N1)
  • Innovative, calm & easy to use
  • Continuous prevention of air-borne infection

Innovative Air Cleaning Solutions
Aerte produces air cleaning solutions for the health care sector, among others. A smaller AD unit, called “Aerte Klean”, can also be placed in e.g. private settings. The technique behind these solutions resembles processes in nature and creates outdoor air indoors.

Development of the AD units
The Air Disinfection Units (AD) have been developed in conjunction with British microbiologists, infection control experts and engineers to replicate the way in which the natural environment protects and cleaning the air in open spaces. The technology reproduces these effects in any enclosed environment such as hospitals, wards, schools or theatres (to name a few examples), neutralising airborne pathogens.

Award-winner with proven effect
The AD is one of the winning products in the Smart Solutions for HCAI programme 2009 and is in use in a number of UK hospitals. The AD has proven to be effective against MRSA, C. difficile, Norovirus and through laboratory tests using the MS2 surrogate, will provide protection against H1N1.
