【FHP-NT】 A Ni-Ti wire with high stiffness like no other, FHP-NT is 3 times stiffer than the ordinary Ni-Ti wires. It does not have yield point. It is a Furukawa patented product.
【Super-elastic Ni-Ti-Co】Now, lets take a look at a revolutionary Ni-Ti super-elastic alloy! Our NT-K wire has much higher Upper Plateau Stress than Ni-rich binary alloy. It is ideal for super-elastic Guidewires, which request higher stiffness. The narrow stress hysteresis can also acheive no whip during the Guidewire rotation.
The 1st material who guarantees Inclusion Size: ≦15μm and Area%: ≦0.5%. This is ½ of ASTM F2063-12 requirement and assure Superior Fatigue Life. Full Range Traceability is available due to In-House Melting. Preferable for implant devices.
Furukawa developed a Pt-Cored Ni-Ti wire for high visibility under the x-ray observation. Ni-Ti alloy with a Platinum core made the wire with high radiopacity clearly visible under the x-raywithout spoiling its super-elasticity. The wire is available in 0.05~1.0mm diameter with a core area ratio of 10~20%.
