Advanced Wound Care solutions are innovative products, which are introduced for the welfare of patients suffering from wound related concerns such as ulcers and diabetes. Traditional wound care products are being increasingly replaced with advanced wound care products, owing to their efficiency & effectiveness in managing complex wounds by enabling faster healing and helping to maintain a hydrated environment. Skin adhesives play an important role in keeping wound dressings in place for Advanced Wound Care applications. In this presentation, important design consideration for the selection of skin adhesives are addressed and various skin-friendly adhesive products for short-term wear and long-term wear times are discussed.
