CuratOR Caliop - The software for efficient OR integration.
Irrespective of the locally installed elements, Caliop supports OR- workflows with a range of basic functions such as the dashboard, stopwatches and timers, and a choice of design schemes.
Video management (Caliop vm)
In addition to these basic functions, the Caliop vm element enables video management functionality for all available sources.
All image and video sources connected to the EIZO system are displayed in clearly arranged, designated thumbnail images. Caliop also presents display elements connected to the system, such as external monitors and the supported layout configurations.
Video sources can be selected and assigned to the desired monitor or layout through a simple mouse click or touch screen operation. Existing connections are indicated visually. The size of the displayed sources and targets can be easily adapted using the scaling buttons.
Documentation und archiving (Caliop doc)
With its Patient Management, Recording and Archiving modules, the Caliop doc element facilitates procedural documentation and the archiving of all available video sources.
The Patient Management module offers access to patient lists, manual creation of new patient data, and the ability to manage this data.
The Recording module supports quick orientation through the thumbnail images presented for each video source connected to the EIZO system. The recording of the respective video sources can be started and stopped using the associated buttons. Additioanl buttons allow users to create snapshots during a recorded procedure.
The Archiving module shows all images captured within the system. Viewing preferences for the archived images can be established via the module bar. From this list of recordings, users can individually select and display the images to be archived with a simple mouse click or touch screen operation.
Connection (Caliop con)
The Caliop con element establishes the software connection to the DICOM worklist and PACS or HL7 systems.
The Connection module allows Caliop doc to be integrated into the hospital information system. Patient data are thus available in Caliop without media discontinuity. As such, recorded videos and snapshots can be linked to the patient data in the hospital information system and archived. The connection via DICOM worklist and HL7 supports the selection of patient data from the hospitals IT infrastructure. DICOM storage is used to export images generated during surgery. It is also supports connections to non-medical archives.
