The new connectors in stainless steel: highly resistant, sterilizable, ideal for use in extreme environments

The new Fischer Core Series Stainless Steel connectors are made of high quality stainless steel - the best available on the market today. The products provide long-term, reliable solutions specifically for extreme environments such as radioactive, energy, medical and food processing. The products are safe to use, easy to clean, easy to handle and extremely versatile.

Made of 316L stainless steel, polyetherketone (PEEK) and ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM), they ensure the best possible resistance to radiation and corrosion, even at high temperatures, while maintaining consistently high performance. The connectors can also be microbiologically sterilized and radioactively decontaminated.

The stainless steel connectors can be customized and configured individually. You can choose from different sizes, housing types, connector types and contact blocks (PCB, solder contact or crimp contact, 2 - 15 pins) the products you need for your specific requirement. Sealed and non-sealed versions are available including IP68. A 360° EMC shield can be added. The connectors can be handled with gloves. Thanks to the patented, industry-standard push-pull locking system, only simple movements are required for mating and unmating operations and for total control of operations. The user can also open and close the connectors remotely, for example in a glass box, using a teleoperator or robot in hazardous or contaminated areas.

Our experienced design team will help you and find products for you that are the best solution for your specific applications.
