All double-sided through-hole plated circuit boards from AT&S

Double-sided through-hole plated circuit boards are used today in all areas of electronics, but especially in industrial and automotive applications. AT&S specializes in the production of double-sided PCBs in the thickness range from 0.1 mm to 3.2 mm in series.

Following features:
  • with "Edge Plating" for shielding and ground connection
  • with metal core for high thermal conductivity
  • (metal, copper or aluminium)
  • with "Copper Inlay" for specific heat dissipation
  • with solder resist of the colors
  • green / white / black / blue / grey / brown etc.
  • with copper layer thicknesses up to more than 140 µm

"Flexible Circuit Boards"

Flexible printed circuit boards are used in all areas of electronics today. In most cases the PCB is bent, twisted or folded to fit into a housing. The use of flexible printed circuit boards primarily replaces cables and connectors or creates connections and geometries that cannot be realized with a rigid printed circuit board.

"HDI Anylayer Printed Circuit Boards"

HDI Anylayer PCBs are the technological evolution of HDI Microvia PCBs. Here, 100 % of all electrical connections of the individual layers are realized via laser-drilled microvias. The great advantage of this technology is that each layer can be interconnected. AT&S uses laser-drilled microvias filled with electroplated copper to manufacture these circuit boards.

Special technologies used in HDI Anylayer PCBs:

  • "Edge plating for shielding and ground connection
  • Conductor width and spacing of 40 µm in large-scale production
  • "Stacked" microvias (copper or filled with conductive paste)
  • Cavities, counterbores or depth milling
  • Solder resist of the colours black / blue / green etc.
  • halogen reduced material in the standard and
  • High-TG range
  • Low-DK material for mobile devices
  • all known surfaces of the PCB industry
  • Up to 14 layers with 6 HDI build-up algae per side
  • Edge metallization for shielding optimization
