saaris - saarland.innovation&standort e. V. is the successor umbrella brand of the former ZPT, the Central Office for Productivity and Technology, which successfully served companies in the Saar economy for many years. Founded as a registered association, which today has around 25 members and whose members range from the trade unions to the business, industry and professional associations, from the universities to the various chambers, from the state government to the state's central economic development agency, partners and projects that otherwise follow different paths now come together under the umbrella of saaris.
In addition to a comprehensive range of services aimed at Saarland companies of all sectors and company sizes as well as start-ups, the new range of services also includes measures to strengthen employer attractiveness and enhance the quality of the location. Since 2013, saaris e.V. has been taking care of the state's location marketing (Saarland. Great things are always created on a small scale.). But also very concretely around the support of job-seeking people with a migration background, who have already become acquainted with the advantages of our state and who are to be integrated into the Saarland labor market (Welcome Center Saarland). Other focal points are the promotion of innovation and technology, securing and attracting skilled workers, and advising companies on technological and demographic change.
The overriding goal of all services is to improve the competitiveness and innovative strength of the Saar economy and thus secure its long-term existence. The range of services offered by saaris also includes further training for specialists and managers, technical and business management consulting as well as activities to open up new sales markets at home and abroad.
Also affiliated are an office of the Enterprise Europe Network (een) and a Patent and Trademark Center (PMZ). As a partner in the Saarbrücken SME 4.0 Competence Centre, we support manufacturing and production-related companies on their way to digitalisation.
