About us

Company portrait

OSCOMED is a company specialising in precision engineering, producing plastic components, tools, prototypes and assembly services, primarily for the medical technology sector

We are a development partner for well-known industrial companies. An experienced management team is committed to the efficient solution of your product requirements with a competent staff. For us, optimal solutions for the requirements of our medium-sized customers are our top priority.

At our location in Sonneberg / Thuringia (1.400m2) and at the location of our associated company Osypka s.r.o., in the Czech Republic (900m2), we manufacture your products under clean room conditions with a highly modern machine park and thus guarantee low bioburden exposure. We are certified according to ISO 13485 at all locations and our quality system is based on the guidelines of GMP (Good manufacturing practice, 21CFR820 of the U.S. FDA).
EUROPEAN FUND FOR REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our Sonneberg site was thankfully subsidised by the Free State of Thuringia for the manufacture of products made of plastic for medical technology and co-financed by funds from the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In particular, the funding concerned investments in machine technology for the production and quality assurance of microcomponents and tools for medical technology.
