The materials used in all our products and their migrating properties comply with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and the BS EN 14350-2:2004 standard.
> Microbiological criteria
All Materni products are made in a controlled environment and are consequently complient with the hygienic requirements for safe use. This avoids the controversial use of ethylene oxide. Regular tests are carried out to ensure that the microbiological properties remain consistent throughout the production process. Regulation (EEC) No. 2073/2005 is complied with.
All Materni products are manufactured from materials suitable for feeding (free of bisphenol A and phthalates), which are converted by a fully automated procedure into a single-packed, ready-to-use finished product. The necessary periodic checks are carried out according to the IFS PAC secure guidelines. Raw materials and finished products are 100% traceable.
Materni is committed to ecological standards and has initiated a research project with support from the King Baudouin Foundation: Baby Bottle Reborn: recycling disposable baby bottles in the health care sector.
