Beim DigiChip handelt es sich um einen passiven RF/ID-Transponder, der mit einem Klettarmband am Arm-, Hand- oder Fußgelenk befestigt werden kann. Entwickelt wurde dieser für die Sportzeitmessung, speziell für Veranstaltungen, wo das Tragen einer normalen Startnummer unmöglich erscheint. So z.B. beim Schwimmen oder beim Triathlon.
Allerdings kann der DigiChip auch überall dort eingesetzt werden, wo es um die Identifizierung von Personen geht. Der Einsatz zur Gebäudeabsicherung, Zugangskontrolle oder Zeiterfassung ist somit ebenfalls gewährleistet. Weiterführend können im internen Speicher des DigiChips Daten des Besitzers gespeichert werden, so dass theoretisch eine Anmeldung bei Wettkämpfen schnell und unkompliziert durchgeführt werden kann.
Der DigiChip ist besonders hautverträglich, da der Transponder in einem medizinischen Material integriert wurde. Zudem passt er sich, durch seine weiche Form, ideal dem Untergrund an und wird somit beim Tragen kaum registriert. Die Lesereichweite ist - im Vergleich mit herkömmlichen Armband-Transpondern - um ein Vielfaches größer.

Our team consists of experienced engineers who have extensive technical know-how in the areas of hardware (including embedded systems, sensor technology, wireless communication) and software (including app/web development, databases, architecture)
In addition, some of them have many years of athletic experience, be it as former competitive athletes, active age group athletes and activities as a coach
With this background, the decision to establish an independent limited liability company was made, with the clear aim of ensuring the implementation and marketing of a new wearable technology product that will have a very decisive impact on the sports, fitness and health market in the future
